Training Philosophy

Sommer Solutions’ training philosophy emphasizes intensive experiential learning. Training includes presentation, discussion, supervised practice, group trancework, and review of videotapes of accomplished therapists at work. We give special attention to the practical application of concepts and techniques in participants’ own work setting. Workbook materials are provided.

Carol Sommer maintains an active private practice in individual, couple and family counseling in Downers Grove, IL. Because many of her clients are professional peers, Carol is often referred to as the "therapist’s therapist."
